After being turned away at the third inn, Te returned to the streets. Thinking of the dismayed, and disgusted, look on the proprietors face he looks down at himself. Seeing nothing wrong with his bare feet and worn gi, Te shakes his head. Thinking that the only way he is going to find a place to stay and get cleaned up would be to find somebody that he knows he heads back into the crowd. Being very careful not to step on anyone or jostle the other people, he easily looks over their heads trying to find a familiar face.

YASUKI NOZOMI, THE BRIDEA young samurai-ko, dressed in simple dark blue robes and a conic jingaza, was trying to foil the group of ronin, apparently. People from a long distance wouldn't be able to grasp this detail just in the crowded road, unless with a special device or through magic, and knowing what to look after, but such people as the Scorpion's servants or the monk, mingled with the peasants, could. For a moment she seemed to walk by the side of a litter, heavily guarded as many others. But she averted the ronin group and for a moment seemed dizzied by the excited crowd. She looked for trustable people around, and between the Scorpion servants and the giant monk, she choose the latter. Coming closer, and looking up, she asked politely. Monk-san, can you help me to get into the castle, please? Seems I'm lost from my flock.Yasuki Nozomi would have a little tale to tell this evening, but first she would like to make sure she'd be alive for the rest of the day

Her eyes seemed to grin as her mask displayed no such obvious gesture. "Such an honor to meet new and prominent figures in the Empire," she would bow lightly in return as her attire would shift, every motion an exaggerated motion to catch the eye and almost tell you where she would stop next. Her fan emerged with a snap but she would only use it to air herself rather than to shelter her words. "And Asako-sama, what a privilege to meet you once more in more breathable air."
But she seemed amused at least as she regarded the question about the newly paired Imperial whom the day was all about. "I'm afraid to say that for once I have not a single clue as to who this person might be. Shocking as that is for some I'm sure."

"You say that, Shosuro san, and yet I still vastly prefer my home in the hills up north. Any other air makes me sneeze."
Chisato's eyes scan the crowd picking out Yasuki women he knew to be single. "If you all were to give me a few hours and the name of Kaneka sama's match maker, I think I could figure out who the bride to be is..."

Ide Sogetsu's eyes wander around as he listens to the recently met people, bowing courteously when getting introduced to a new one. By the time he listened to Daidoji Kousei he replied:
"I believe that the Yasuki family has decided to keep the bride's identity a secret, but as I can understand she will manage to be a magnificent choice." he said amused.
He heard as the rest of them were speaking about their imminent sparring match of sorts, an interesting event to meet more people. This Matsu Ayaka seemed quite an interesting woman herself, nearly to Satomi's hotheaded counterpart.
He turned once again to Kousei.
"Daidoji Kousei-sama.." he repeated the name as they were talking.
"I believe that you have attended the Imperial winter court as well, is it right?" he said with a nod.

Looking down at the young woman who spoke to him Te seemed a little surprised. Raising his head and looking around to make sure he was the one who was spoken to. He eventually nodded his head as he looked back down. "I could be a shepherd to one who is lost" he rumbled. Kneeling down, to meet her gaze he continues "but only if the sheep would show me the way".

"Hai, Sosetsu-sama, I was there. I don't think we had the good fortune to meet, although I did get to know one of your clanmates quite well. Are you familiar with Moto Arandaru-san?"
Kousei chuckled to himself. "As for the bride, I am sure that every single man will probably be at least a little jealous of Kaneka-sama before the day is out!"

Posting as: Yasuki NozomiNozomi smiled, and looking around, noticed the guards already noticed her absence. It caused some confusion in no time, as they started looking for her... as well as the ronin started to scatter away. Yes, I can do it.Are you an Ize Zumi? She asked curiosly, pointing the way. You are tall and can see longer than I. As soon as we get there, the sentinel will permit us to pass. She was gentle, polite, but her eyes showed she was very self confident, maybe more than she should.

Oh, I can guarantee you all Kousei-san is not exaggerating!
Satomi smiled.
She attended the Winter Court and I have no doubt she was the reason Kaneka-sama decided to marry into Yasuki. That he picked from the options available was no doubt, but the point was... the bride was not so "flattered" with the idea. Convincing her that her marriage would be a happy union was impossible. Nozomi was a "free spirit" and the role of a spouse to take care of her husband business were not in her plans for life until the day she was chosen as Kaneka's bride. She also had an inconsequent antipathy for Kaneka, feed by the rumors about his relationship with a Mantis geisha. Nevertheless, she would oblige her duty to her clan and family.
But, if you are so curious... She's going to attend a small celebration this evening, for few invitees only. It'll be very informal, a "sorority celebration" to say so, but I'm sure she'll be delighted in having such special individuals attending her simple reunion... Satomi proposed to all. Satomi herself prepared the party to try to soothe Nozomi's mood.

Ide Sogetsu looked at Satomi as she began speaking in favor of Kaneka's bride as he resumed a casual and friendly smile. He heard the name and remembered what he had heard of Nozomi's presence in the Imperial winter court. So, that's why the name was so familiar to him..
Then he turned back to Kousei:
"Hai I do, esteemed Moto Arandaru-sama is the hatamoto of the Unicorn Clan. I would be damned if I didn't know how even to spell his name." he amused to himself.
"However, given the fact of his position, he couldn't manage to attend to this wedding. Thus, he has asked me that I gave you his most heartily of greetings and salutations."
In truth Sogetsu wouldn't wish to "delve" deeper into the true reason of Arandaru's absence and he was quite certain that his friends would've already understood that.
While the commotion raged on, Sogetsu would hand Satomi a fine message in a typical lavender envelope smelling of tangerine.
Moments later he carried on with Kousei:
"Is this your first time in Yasuki Yashiki, Daidoji-sama? Personally, it is my first time ever to descend such as south in Rokugan." he tried to pick an idle talk, without wishing to provoke or imply something insulting.

"I would be delighted to attend, Satomi-sama, provided I will not have to fall back on my childhood days pretending to be a noh theatre actor and dress up as a samurai-ko! I Kaneka-sama would be most displeased if his bride to be had laughed herself into exhaustion at the sight. If this would be the case then I will regretfully decline."
Kousei turned and carried on conversing with the Unicorn. "No Sogetsu-sama, I am familiar with this place. I have spent a fair amount of time in the lands of the Crab and Yasuki Yashiki was one of our favourite places to come when we had a period away from the Wall. If you like, I can recommend some of the sights?"

Satomi was about to finally greet the Scorpion guest, when the Shogun passed and everyone bowed, just in time for the "servant" to slip from the grasp of the magistrate and his guards, who was unwilling to cause scandal in front of such important personages. Satomi sighed, grasping her hands in fury. That's was the man she was sure, was the one who would lay the word into the ears of the "Master of the Twins". Discreetly, she tried to signal Kousei to the direction the man took, while the Shogun Kuon took his time to briefly greet the group and take his way along Yasuki Kaneka, Yasuki Hachi and Hida Reiha for another room. She surely couldn't avoid to give him the deserved attention. OOC: feel free to hunt down the kolat if you wish, Kousei

Seeing Satomi's signal, Kousei detached himself from the gathering. "If you will excuse me, I have a few matters I must attend to. It was a pleasure to make your acquiantence. Satomi-sama, do let me know whether the gathering this evening is mixed or for women only."
The Daidoji headed off vaguely in the direction of some of the other Crane, all the time keeping the 'servant' in sight. He wended his through the crowd, closing in on his target. The servant was heading towards where Hachi and Reiha had gone, keeping his head down and avoiding attention. Kousei quickened his pace now he was out of sight of the group of samurai he was conversing with earlier. Although he moved gracefully the streets were crowded, and occasionally he elicited a reaction as he jostled into someone. As the servant disappeared through a door and out of sight, he broke into a run.

Chisato was also perplexed by the invitation, "You would invite... me to her sorority celebration? While I admit I am beyond intrigued to see who the bride to be is, aren't I a tad too... uh... masculine?"
The very thought of Chisato as masculine elicited a snort from his karo, by the time he turned to look at her, her face was hidden behind her fan, completely hidden. A few others had a small chuckle as well.
Chisato was about to ask what was so funny when he thought better of it, better to just stay quiet when in public, chisato.

Satomi kept her face as candid as possible. THAT WAS EMBARRASSING. Whatever reply she could give to his question, after having spent a night with him was... a trap.
What? Ahh No... I promise nobody will need to change clothes or gender... Unless they wish, of course. Let's say that "The Sorority" is Crab style party for women serving in the Army before they wed. The "Bride" has been serving in an elite unit for for some time. It's mixed, don't worry.
