Chisato, a tangled mess of orange and red robes makes it to the second floor. He hears the sound of combat and, with a hand on the hilt of his wakizashi, he rounds the corner. He draws his blade. Pointing it at the combat, shouting over the din.
"What right do you have to call yourself equal to Hida O-Ushi sama who came before you!?"
Bold. Insulting. Deliberate.
These things were not Chisato. Even he seemed shocked. He tried not to let his blade waver in this instant. He tried not to sneeze... and surprisingly, he had little difficulty in doing so. It was as if someone had flipped a switch in his head.

Seeing the Crane samurai take control of the woman Te turns when he hears a shouted challenge. Seeing a small man in dirty and rumpled robes yelling while brandishing a wakizashi in Te's direction. Muttering "it's never easy", Te steps between the Crane assisting him and this new threat and moves to a ready stance.

POSTING AS HIDA REIHA
((Fire (3) + Hida Bushi (1) + Ruthless (1) + Rikungoshokan (1) + Sleeper Agent (1) = 7. Failure for Hida Reiha))
Blood flowed from her fingers as the Daidoji steel cut through her right index finger. The sight was rather macabre, because the blood sprayed everywhere as she tried to find her composure. She knew she could deal havoc for all these misdeeds done to her expense. Her mind had been probed, she was vulnerable, but her stamina let her carry on. She was a Hida.
Falling back she tapped the wooden panel once, then twice. No response. She then put her fist on the ground as she gave a final push to her body, her other hand clasping the figurine as she twisted it malevolently.
Given the fact that the Daidoji had already approached her was quite enough for him to witness the same. The ground trembled for a bit and a creaking sound was heard.
Te looked at them both. He pondered for a second his next move. And for the first time, Reiha was in luck.
The paneling shifted as rapidly as a batter of the eye. What Te could see now was the same paneling, standing there. There wasn't any blood whatsoever. Neither was Reiha nor Kousei.
On the other side, the pull was great. The inertia from the spinning made Kousei stumble without losing his balance. Reiha stumbled as she tried not to tumble. Both of them had shifted into another place. It was a warm one, smelling of fresh mahogany. The air was humid, a sign that the room was shut off from everyday's life in the palace. It was adorned with the same cream paneling that the Yasuki palaces had. But the strange thing were the ladders. Kousei could just stare at the numerous amount of ladders leading here and there, forming a network of passages throughout the whole place level.
As he turned his eyes back to Reiha, she had risen up. The woman had endured so much, only to fulfill her duty. Wasn't it the Crab's tenet of bushido? How fitting...
And then from the dark, Kousei heard a small sound, the one that only a blowgun would make. And felt a slight tingle at the base of his neck. And in that instant, he felt his body weak as his mind began to numb and he felt the urge to yawn. He felt sleepy enough...

As soon as Satomi reached the floor chasing Reiha and brandishing a bloody sword, she was spotted by the honor guard. After the Dragon Monk's warn to them, the group surrounded the Kaiu general. Instead of fighting, she noticed the actions of Kurimuzon Te, recognizing him as a non-kolat and unexpected ally, different from her initial suspicions.
She knew Kousei was arriving, so she raised her hands, and after her willing to surrender being acknowledged by the guards, she cautiously put her sword on the floor.
It surely gave Te and Kousei time to act as they did, without the intromission of the guard.
Then, Chisato popped up in the scene, quite nervous and yelling insults at Reiha.
OH please, shut up Chisato! Satomi thought. He could be out of this, but now...
Everyone's attention, though, was diverted from the Asako daimyo's histeric behavior to Reiha and Kousei once again. When her finger danced in the air and bounced uselessly on the floor, before their disappearance behind a panel... Satomi was terrified.
Bishamon, we are damned now...

Chisato watched the series of events unfolding with great amounts of confusion. The monk was in his way? But I asked him to be here! And then he started to worry that the blow to his head was worse then he expected. Because a Crab clan champion and a Daidoji Iron Warrior just vanished behind a rotating wall.
The Crab clan champion and an Iron Warrior just vanished behind a rotating wall? Where is that USELESS Shosuro governor when I need her?!
...
Did I just think that? What am I thinking?!
Focus fool.
Chisato narrowed his eyes at the monk. Then lowers his blade, bowing to the protector, "Thank you for your services." Then he motioned to the wall behind him, "We need to find out where that leads," Then he turns about and in his best resonant courtly confident voice he bellows through the halls, "PROTECT KANEKA SAMA!"
Chisato is not so foolish as to try to walk past the niten monk, not until he stepped away first. And still, Chisato felt.. odd. Confident. Unwavering.

There was shouting, the Shosuro's quiet eyes shifted gradually towards the door. You're really ruining my kata little Phoenix..
She couldn't (or wouldn't) describe what she was seeing, instead having seen more than enough interactions between men and women her mind was entirely focused on other potential motions, she was not so daft as to imagine a place like this castle having a lack of hiding places considering the trap masters of both the Crane and the Kaiu engineers. She would remain as the very last defense as she felt was necessary, for if these were the intended targets and all others failed someone must still silently save the day and go unrewarded for their vigil.
Such was a Scorpion's way though, there were far worse duties and favors to perform in this life. The hidden Shosuro statue waited.

Seeing the two newcomers lowering their weapons Te took a second to look closer at who they were. Bowing to the two he reattaches the two halves of his staff and hands it to Chisato. Te turns to the section of wall were the assassin and Kousei disappeared. Unable to figure out the trick to opening the wall Te finds the outline of the hidden door and strikes.

POSTED AS HIDA REIHA, THE KOLAT ASSASSIN
Reiha panted after the strenuous chase. The intervention of so many individuals proved to her that the plan was on the risk of getting foiled, and thus she'd need resort to the second plan as dictated by the Kolat taskmasters. She looked at the woman in the corner, a lady adorned with the pale alabaster paint of the geisha. She was beautiful and slender and yet she was famous for her services in the Yasuki court. She was Mitsuru, the lady who proved that she could play the samisen as deftly as she could use the blowgun. Mitsuru nodded over to Reiha's side. The Daidoji warrior would be contained for now. She rose and approached the man as she placed an ear next to his open mouth. He was breathing with a steady pace. Crisis had been averted and to Mitsuru less innocents harmed the better. On the other side Reiha carried on. She clicked her fingers as she motioned over to Mitsuru. The geisha produced a tanto which threw it over at her side. Reiha seized the weapon from the handle and with her other hand she rubbed her belly. She let a motherly grin as her baby produced a small kick. The young man, her son, would be forged into the heat of battle from early on.
Moments later Reiha arrived at the place where the panel reached Kaneka's room. She sighed, steeled herself and turned the handle. Then the panel transported the woman to the other room.
In the room Yasuki Kaneka with Yasuki Nozomi were having a time of solace. Their marriage seemed to have lead to a turmoil, but little did they know that there were some Kolat wheels at work.. As the panel turned and Reiha appeared in the room Nozomi let a gasp. The Wind of War wasn't taken aback however. He reached for his katana which rested at his side. Reiha stood there for a moment as the trio needed to ascertain the situation.
And in the next minutes massacre would ensue...

Listen... Satomi's tone carried a sense of urgency, yet calm. She was still surrounded by the guards, but she possessed the presence of a general. The men seemed confused, yet determined to defend their charges. Also, the whole scene probably made them very confused, and very reactive.
I know how it looks, but we have no time to lose. Reiha-sama isn't in her own control anymore. You witness her nonsense acts, you witness how she ignored your support to use a… Crane's subterfuge. She's not acting in her normal self, or she'd just ask to see the couple! Whatever is commanding her will, is aiming to cause harm to the brother of the Empress, causing our clan's ruin! So we need to interrupt the couple's rest to assure both are safe. We have two options: we do it together, or I do it by myself.
All we need is to be quick in our action. We need to save the honor of our clan, and assure Reiha-sama will not expose herself to harm as well. I'm getting into that room! Follow me! She spoke with passion and command, taking her sword with a bold move, and stepping forward in the direction of the bridal chamber.

(Fire 5, 1 infiltrator, 1 ancestor, 1 ninja..)
The Shosuro was still unmoving, her eyes barely flitting to all of the noise. As it drew closer she would do her best to retreat hoping that any to have the audacity to approach in such strength were not in fact assassins, or they were the worst kind of assassins she'd ever met. But still, she was trying to remain as best as she could, but her blade would turn inward to her wrist, a dark thought now gripping her for skills that she promised never to use.
She breathed out quietly, ducking as she was poised to strike as needed. It might be a swift and bloody end, but she had assured the Asako of her guardianship.

Te hit the revolving door with enough force to strip the gearing on the pivot. He pushes the door open far enough for him to fit through while holding his other hand out for his intricately carved staff. Looking at the warren of ladders and passages behind the wall would have confused many people not familiar with Crane construction. Luckily he didn't need to go far before seeing the Crane laying on the floor with a small geisha kneeling at his head. "Chisato, can you do anything for him?" he asks "I must protect Little Sister". Following the trail of blood, he comes to another wall panel. Recognizing the same construction technique he again strikes the wall breaking the door. Te stops upon entering the bridal chamber to try and sort out what is happening.

He hands the staff back over, and cracks his knuckles. "Can I do anything for him? Probably not, but her, I think I can handle..."
He leans down as Te moves on, "Madame, what has happened, is everything alright?... and how did you get back here?"

PLAYING AS MITSURU, A COURT GEISHA
Mitsuru gasped as the panel broke into pieces by the forceful hits of Kurizumon Te. She was already informed of the potential some individuals could bear in this court, but she wasn't informed about him at all. Following that in came the Asako daimyo addressing her as needed, inquiring further information. She was already over the sleeping Daidoji's body, so further lies would simply be unbelievable. Thus she rose and quickly threw a dirk that was resting hidden beside her hip. The weapon flew into the air, targeting the daimyo.. Mitsuru ran to the opposite side..
*Mitsuru's act of diversion* Fire (3) + Initiator (1) + Kolat Agent (1) = 5
PLAYING AS HIDA REIHA, THE KOLAT ASSASSIN
Reiha didn't wait a moment and quickly darted towards Kaneka. All she could ask was for forgiveness, but her body and mind wouldn't permit her so. Her figure was flexible as she had a fluid movement, a talent that seemed well-locked into her original "self". The tanto in her hand danced as she headed for Kaneka's head and open waist.
Kaneka however wasn't prone to getting outmaneuvered in a dueling. At Reiha's lunge he bent his figure so low, standing solely on his heels as he managed to deliver a strong kick over the woman's back. Many a samurai would've fallen from this kick, but not Reiha. She was a Crab and proved as solid and immmobile as if rooted to the ground. She felt numb, but her little offspring in her belly protested with a soft kick.
Kaneka followed suit as he darted at Reiha, pacing sideways reducing his visible targeting "surface". Reiha parried the blow with the tanto, which in turn got shattered by the masterwork quality of Kaneka's own blade. Looking at her side, Reiha noticed a hempen rope that tied an assortment of night lanterns over the ceiling. With a motion she cut the rope loose. This created a soft distraction as some lanterns fell on the ground... Kaneka didn't get diverted though. He'd heard the commotion outside of the room and thus he knew that either more challengers were coming or... bah! he didn't believe in the quality of allies.
With her broken blade at hand and some rope at the other Reiha whipped the air as she headed for Kaneka's figure. As Reiha threw a glance at Nozomi, he turned his glance over at his wife. Reiha's plan of shifting attention for a moment succeeded and with the broken blade went for the man's throat.
Everything flashed and in an instant, Nozomi screamed
"Love!"
Did she mean Kaneka? Reiha wondered. Too late though...her broken blade has already hooked his figure...or...was it...her figure?
Snapping into and out of reality in an instant, Reiha has already realized that the figure she'd stabbed was that of Yasuki Nozomi, Kaneka's wife...

Breaking forth into the bridal chamber, Satomi and the guards arrived at time to see the lanterns falling from the ceiling, and the ensuing fighting scene between Kaneka and Reiha. Witnessing the ruthless manner Kaneka was treating his attacker, she knew Reiha had few chances to survive.
Fire! A guard shouted, pointing out the flames feeding from the assorted flammable materials in the room, the and for a moment Satomi's attention was diverted from the shocking duel between the Hida pregnant woman and one of the most feared duelists of Rokugan. When Satomi looked around again, Yasuki Nozomi, her friend, pupil and also Kaneka's wife, was collapsing with a muffled gasp of horror, a determined look at her beautiful face while Reiha's tanto was buried deep into her bare chest. "Little Sister's" hand grasped her own blade, and she fell on the floor trying to keep her composure and still trying to defend her husband and the honor of the Yasuki. Was Satomi's impression or Nozomi for a moment glanced to the arriving monk, while speaking her enigmatic words? Unfortunately, Satomi knew better that neither Reiha or Kaneka would consider Nozomi a hindrance to their blood thirsty.
The guards occupied themselves into extinguish the fire from causing a further tragedy, as they're unable to stop the fight involving the trio.
Satomi should act quickly, if she wished to try to save Kuon's second son. Was it a sort of maternal empathy? Or just stupidity? Reiha didn't matter anymore, however. The stupid woman was sort of tainted by her weakness as slave of the kolat: little could one do to save her soul.
Jumping the obstacles with relative easiness, the Kaiu general reached Reiha's back and grabbed her by the clothes, pulling Reiha from her stance against Kaneka, and pushing the Hida woman to the bed. Reiha's was already disarmed, so Satomi pointed out her katana to Reiha's throat.
She narrowed her eyes, and bellowed to the prone daimyo.
React, Reiha! Fight it! Defend your son! Stop it now or die honorless!
OOC: I'm assuming Reiha would be using her 8 result against Satomi's 10 result, as in the last test they did, so I'm counting Satomi was allowed to grab the woman (Kaiu/rikugunshokan/feared/agility-fire5/tactical genius/initiator) and throw her in the bed, putting the woman in a defenseless position. Of course Kaneka can ignore Satomi's action and try to get Reiha and keep fighting her. That's merely my plans, and at storyteller's discretion I'm editing it as appropriate.
