Chisato thinks, its never easy when there is so little to go on. But thats why he is the expert. "Nineteen..." He scratches his chin. "Were you always with the dragon monks?" He was hoping for anything that could help him narrow the search.

Rhyodotsu just stared at the daimyo thinking to himself and then finally saying,
"I gave myself to the Tao when I was very young. My parents however, I know not. I know little to no information about them. Any questions you have about them I don't think I will be able to answer them. I have been on my own ever since the murder of them, I can tell you the murderer's name. If you think that will help at all."
Rhyodotsu has no clue that this man is best at what he does, all he heard was rumors of Asako Chisato and the great man he was.

Noroko returns the older monk's nod, thankful that at least one Dragon has some sense. The younger one, well, he'll need to learn that whatever his urgency, ignoring courtesy or sense will get him nowhere in his quest. She dismounts when Chisato does, handing the horse's reins to a nearby guard and following the daimyo to the carriage.
"Do you recall either of them carrying a daisho?" she says, indicating the katana and wakizashi at her waist. Surely the weapons would be memorable to a five-or-six-year-old, even if the faces were lost in whatever trauma he seemed to have experienced.

All I have is an age... does he know how many were born that year alone? Chisato sighs and follows up on Noroko's question with one of his own, "What name were you born with, Togashi san?" Maybe if he remembers the name he had been given by his parents before taking on his own name at gempukku, he may get lucky and find him in his text already.

"As I have said before Noroko my entire family was killed by one man, I do not remember his face but I do remember his body. He had a daisho, yes, but he did not rely on the weapons. He seemed to be a monk if I remember correctly. He had a strange tattoo that surrounded his entire body. I fled the area before I could see his face."
Rhyodotsu had the feeling that someone was watching him from a distance away, looking to the top of the castle their was a figure seeming to stare directly at him. Choosing to put the thought out of his mind he looked back to the Lion, then to the daimyo.
"The name given to me at birth," Rhyodotsu gets the same feeling that he had before, looking around he sees the same figure only closer but not so close that he could see things that stood out. Almost as if the shadow was wearing a hooded robe. "I believe we should leave the area before I speak anymore."

Chisato was eager to get this over with, but then simply just nods. He closes up his book and gets deeper into his thoughts as he steps into the carriage. Shiba Odo, his protector, gets the caravan to begin moving north.

Te shakes his head again. Looking to the Lion once again he speaks "I do not believe him to be much trouble to you Noroko-san. I apologize but I have other matters to which I much attend. May you find safe travels and good nights." So saying he turns and makes his way back to Yasuki Yashiki.

"Trouble? No. Irritation? It seems likely," Noroko, sighs, shaking her head, then nods to Te at his departure. She turns and waves for her horse to be brought back to her as the caravan begins moving again. Mounting up, she pulls alongside the carriage in order to hear the conversation.
"I was asking, young monk," she says, stressing the word despite her only being a scant few years older, "whether your parents carried daisho. To ascertain whether they were samurai. Surely you do not expect the daimyo's work to cover peasant families?"

Feeling insulted at Ikoma Noroko's comment he says back to her, "All people are peasants, just some are closer to success than others. However, my family, well my parents at least did carry daisho."
Rhyodotsu climbs to the top of the carriage and lays down. "I am sorry for the way I acted and reacted at the castle. For I am a young monk who has not yet learned the way of the world or her people." Hearing a laugh in his head which he thinks is from someone in the group, he turns his head sharply towards Noroko. "Yet you laugh at my expense."

The caravan, only a few paces forward, halts as everyone turns and gives a slow look at the monk. There is an awkward moment as the boy calls everyone a peasant. Asako Megumi, Chisato's karo or 'chief aide', clears her throat loudly, and the caravan continues unabated. Chisato is impervious to such social faux pas as he is dense and preoccupied with work.
"They were samurai then, not peasants. Hm. Your birth name good monk?"
Megumi silently hopes in the meantime that Chisato finishes quickly so that they can all continue on their way.

Climbing down to the side of the carriage so he can tell the daimyo in private.
"May I have a paper to spell it for you, I am worried that he will know who I am if I say my name out loud."
Having the feeling that someone is watching the young monk, Rhyodotsu turns his head in search for the source.

"I did not laugh, and I am certainly not laughing at being called a peasant," Noroko's voice is flat as she stares at the clinging monk, one hand resting on the hilt of her katana. "Apologize for the insult to my ancestors, and retract your statement." It is clear from the white knuckled grip that she has on her reins that the Ikoma is just barely restraining her volatile emotions in the face of Megumi's desire to see the caravan continue without incident. Else a challenge would already have been forthcoming.

"I apologize for, and take back my statement. All I have been doing is searching for my parents killer. I will think about the things before I say them"
Looking at Noroko, Rhyodotsu means every word he says.
