The monks hosted their guest with joy and serenity, allowing him to participate in their routine prayers and delighted to share a bit of their knowledge to the Moto Shugenja. Their secluded shrine permitted them to impose a different pace on life's affairs, and as Jurojin's devotes, the small brotherhood had a vigorous lifestyle, but they didn't impose their non-samurai habits to the Moto samurai. One afternoon, Miosho presented the Unicorn Hatamoto with a small talisman, saying: You felt the presence of Jurojin's benevolence and wisdom in your mind; now you can feel it every day in your life. Once you bear this talisman with you, your body will resist the direst probations. The talisman itself was little more than a tiny vial of purple water, attached to a thin silver chain. However, a Water shugenja could sense the power of the humble artifact and its contained water, and an immediate wellbeing spreading through the entire body when touching it.

Moto Arandaru had the time to participate in the prayers and the ceremonies of the monks in the shrine to Jurojin, he even received the talisman that was given to him -so graciously. He thanked the monks enough, feeling invigorated and blessed that he had spent these three days there. During the next morning he and Iuchi Arissa had already left. Days later Arandaru would arrange for the monks to receive a gift. A fine copy of the journal of the first Khan, Moto Gaheris, narrating the arduous stories of the children of the Ki-Rin in the Burning Sands.
