In Taogashi Rhyodotsu's 11th year in the search of his family's killer Kokujin, he finds himself in the Crab lands. Approaching the town Yasuki Yashiki in search for the Scribe and Daimyo of the Asako, Asako Chisato, to find out who his family was. Looking all over the town with no luck. Rhyodotsu sees a great castle in the distance and feels the need to enter it. Slowly approaching the castle he is stopped by two guards.
"I am in search of Asako Chisato, I must speak to him right away."
The guards, refusing to move, just stare at Rhyodotsu.
"By your silence, I now know that he is in this castle. It is of dire importance that I speak to him. It has to do with the death of my family and Kokujin."
The guards, still not moving, will not let Rhyodotsu through. Understanding this Rhyodotsu turns away and sits on the nearby bench and watches the entrance either waiting for one of two things. Either Asako Chisato to exit the castle or, the guards to turn their attention away so that he may enter.

By this time, the Asako daimyo had accomplished all that he could hope to salvage since arriving here before the new year. He could no longer afford to tarry and take up the Yasuki's hospitality. After saying his farewells to those that needed it, he and his retinue of servants and protectors mount horses and begin to travel north.
Chisato is at the center of the group, trying very mechanically in style to urge the horse in the direction of his choosing, and doing only a so-so job of it. Not two steps out of the castle, Chisato sneezes.
"I simply hate travelling."

Seeing the sneezing Chisato, Rhyodotsu cautiously approaches him. The guards pay him no mind as he walks by them.
"Excuse me, are you Asako Chisato?"
Rhyodotsu places his hand on Chisato's right shoulder from behind.

The guards might not pay him any mind, but Ikoma Noroko most definitely does. Riding next to Chisato--and much more confident atop her horse than the Asako--her hand shoots out and goes to grab the Togashi's wrist the instant he tries to touch Chisato.
"Odo-sama!" she shouts simultaneously to the Shiba captain of Chisato's guard, riding at the front of the group. "Your soldiers are asleep back here!"
--------------- Fire 5 + Initiator + Ninja + Ruthless = 8 for the wrist grab.

Staying calm as if nothing had happened Rhyodotsu looks at his wrist and up the arm to Ikoma Noroko into her eyes.
"Before I go any further may I have my wrist back in my own possession. For it is not the wrist that you grabbed, the wrist turned to inside of your hand."
Looking at Asako Chisato's horse Rhyodotsu realizes that he has found more trouble than what he bargained for. This man had what seemed to be an entire army for a single man. That's one of the privileges for being a Daimyo.

Chisato turns to see the exchange and the grab with a bit of shock and surprise, "Oh goodness gracious... Noroko san? It seems you have found a monk..." He blinks, "I do say, were you looking for me?"
Meanwhile Shoba Odo, Chisato's sworn protector flushes red at the insult delivered to him by Noroko, seeing she has it under hand, he turns his gaze away.

Togashi Rhyodotsu looking straight ahead, replied "I refused to answer any questions until this Lion member releases me." Being a monk he meant no disrespect even from the tone of his voice may of made it come off in such a way.
Rhyodotsu looked into the eyes of Ikoma Noroko, "For our own safety of course."

Noroko looks frostily at the Dragon. "Next time, you approach the Captain of the Guard and request to speak to the Asako Daimyo," she says firmly before releasing his hand. "And monk or not, you certainly don't try to touch him!" She shakes her head, looking irritated.
Dragons...
"Now you may speak, Togashi-san."

Stepping away from the Lion and towards the daimyo, Rhyodotsu looks around just to be sure that no one besides Chisato is paying attention. Looking at the book that Chisato is holding Rhyodotsu says,
"I wish to know who my family was." Rhyodotsu, now looking into the eyes of the small man. "When I was a child, before I gave myself to the Tao my entire family was slaughtered, I will not say by who until I know you can be trusted. I fled the area and swore to myself I would find this man, or thing...no--this monster and show him what I felt...I am not afraid. I must know the names of those I am avenging."
Rhyodotsu looks as determined as ever. Besides his sensei no one else has ever heard him speak this much, or has heard what happened to him.
Expecting the worse Rhyodotsu steps back making sure not to seem as a threat.

Making his way to the castle to find out how to cash in his writ for rice, Te see a commotion surrounding the Asako Daimyo. Shaking his head, since he knew the kind of trouble the little man had a propensity for finding himself in, Te makes his way over. Who knows, it may be entertaining.
Nodding to Noroko as he comes close he silently, for one so large, makes his way behind the younger monk. Resting both hands on his staff he waits to see how the daimyo responds to the demands.

Feeling a presence behind him Rhyodotsu turns around and sees Kurimuzon Te. By instinct dropping to one knee to the elder dragon.
"Kurimuzon Te, a pleasure to see you. What may I owe the offer that an elder would see me?"
Not looking up and his back towards Chisato, Rhyodoysu's Phoenix tattoo is clearly visible since the absence of a top.

Te chuckles "Hardly an elder young one. The only thing that I may ask of you at this time is patience."
He looks across the kneeling man to where Chisato sits astride his horse. "Chisato-sama, my friend, I apologize for my brothers rashness. Would you kindly assist us with your unmatched knowledge in this?" With the end of his request Te bows slightly to the Phoenix daimyo.

"Kurimuzon Te, I am sorry for my negligence. For I have master courtesy, and not yet patience. My goal has been finding my parents names." Rhyodotsu bows to Kurimuzon Te. "I am sorry."
Rhyodotsu turns around to face the lion. "I also apologize to you, Lion for I have come so sudden that I seemed as a threat, but I assure you I am not."
Rhyodotsu turns his attention to the Daimyo. "Daimyo Asako Chisato I too am sorry for the intrusion I made. It is obvious to me that you did not want to be bothered."

Things that one should never do to a daimyo, touch them, not bow deeply to them, turn their back to them. Chisato's retainers were scandalized by the young monk's behavior and audacity. Chisato however, was as he always is when making first contact with someone, confused.
Clearly a Togashi monk, but with no knowledge of his family? His parents could be anyone, even peasants. Chisato looked about at all the people around him waiting for him to make a decision. Realizing this he quickly nods his head, "Oh, uh, yes of course..."
He rather awkwardly dismounts his horse, but manages to stay standing. He goes to the carriage in their little caravan, and Odo steps over to his lord bowing. "Asako sama, might I suggest for the duration of the journey that you ride in the carriage, it will be easier to provide for your safety."
Chisato looks back to the man and nods his head, "Y-yes, of course... anything to make the journey easier." He says the word 'journey' like a sarcastic curse. He returns to the young monk with his book in hand. He clears his throat, "Togashi san."
He flips open his book to the dragon clan, "You do not know who your parents are... how many summers have you seen? And can you be sure your parents were of the samurai?" He speaks much more fluidly when in his element.

Rhyodotsu, stepping closer to the Daimyo, replies slowly
"I don't know my family's names or faces, I have seen six summers with my parents and thirteen without them, I don't know my family's names or faces. Of samurai, I know not."
Rhyodotsu feeling as though he could say or do something wrong is extremely cautious about what he says and how he says it. Talking about his family makes him feel vulnerable, as though the killer of his family can see him and is waiting for the perfect time to strike. However Rhyodotsu is not afraid, He has two things to thank for that. The first is his Mantis tattoo on his right shoulder. The second is the death of his family was the point of his life where fear was his only emotion.
