Kurimuzon Te and Asako Chisato like this

(Self made thread, likely to just 'play on my own'. My character's own reflections and interactions with the informant Otomo at most.)
The journey to return to Shiro no Shosuro was bound to be a rather rocky adventure for the captured Otomo, now revived in a discreet location along the road well away from the Yasuki festivities. Her disappearance might be noted, but really she intended to keep the celebratory crew all as busy as possible with intended busyness. Never enough to bring on the attention towards the Scorpion clan members specifically but just to churn up random occurrences of drama and incite minor scuffles that would keep everyone preoccupied in their own way, Himitsu was thankful to have such dutiful clansmen, but then again she had hand selected this flock of courtiers for their exceptional nature and capabilities in case of events like this.
A day's ride away she'd managed to get the Otomo well away from his previous known location and his attire sadly though his name would also have to be left behind too. "If you're going to stay alive you will answer to the servant name Oro, short for Orokamono." A bemusing chuckle to his horror. "It's perfect for a little fool like you." The predatory nature of this Shosuro was unraveling quickly while they waited for his escort to arrive.
They had been able to find a small inn along the way, one of many quiet locations along the road, to search every one for the missing Otomo would be tiring work indeed especially now when the Otomo was quickly becoming someone else all together. To be alone with a man like this was scandalous at best, but this would be the least of her offenses should anyone find out the truth of all this woman was capable of or responsible for. She'd already set to work to at least have him tend to her things in the room while they waited, he was of course going to have to maintain his guise for a while longer, only with the reassurance of. "You'll be well taken care of in Scorpion lands, do not grumble so much or people will suspect." Another cautionary glance and a mirthful expression in her eyes, as her lips were still hidden behind her mask.
Truth was though, the Shosuro was anything but gleeful at present, her mind ever swirling with the possibilities.
News of this could spurn a lot of brash souls into action, some fools even going what they feel is 'the extra step' and destabilizing not only society's norms but also the economic stability of Rokugan as a whole. If they could be trusted with it, I would certainly tell them all of course, or even spread it around as a gradual rumor, but they are not capable of handling it so I must take the necessary steps. She would nod to herself, humming thoughtfully over tea her little Oro would have provided. The major players of the underworld will be grateful for this silence, but little will they know that under this appearance of secrecy that their days are numbered. I can think of so many little agents in training just waiting for their first blooding. But perhaps this must be overseen by a more experienced veteran as well, to ensure it gets the duty done. She would sip quietly and savor the warmth and the taste as she slipped her mask away just enough to take the tea, but never fully removing it.
Her mind and attention were ever trained to the eventual arrival of her fellow clansmen when they would arrive, but for now it was just a quiet moment for the two.
