Assigning the Court
Proposing that a clan claim a position of the Imperial Court is a voting action. Players may submit votes and then those votes will be tallied. The highest vote totals will determine the outcome of the contest. Rules are as follows:
1. There are five important court positions that need to be filled. These are: Imperial Chancellor, Voice of the Empress, Shogun, Head of the Imperial Guard, Imperial Scribe. There are, of course, other positions but these will be filled off screen.
2. No clan may have more than 3 positions claimed in the Court..
3. Players will have 3 weeks to submit votes.
4. In order to vote, a player must send a private message to Otomo Yatsuji with the following information: How many favors are being used to vote, which position is being voted upon, and which clan they wish to claim the position. Example: 3 votes for the Crane to take the office of Shogun.
5. When a vote submission is received, Otomo Yatsuji will add the requested votes to a voting record. He will then delete the requisite numbers of favors from the submitters account. Finally he will send a confirmation private message to the players saying how their favors have been spent.
6. If a player has a favor distinction that is more than one favor, that favor may not be split between two different votes. Example: A player has a 10 favor distinction. Said player may not spend 7 favors for one vote and then 3 favors for another. Note that favors are now returnable to the glory shop for their full value upon return, so glory may be reassigned to different amounts of favors.
7. Votes may be submitted to Otomo Yatsuji until 8:00 AM U.S. Mountain time, on Monday, February 3, 2014.
8. When voting closes, the votes will be tallied completely and results of the voting will be made publicly available.
9. Each position will be assigned to the clan which has submitted the most votes for them.
