This is a closed RP. I am putting it here, in hopes to garner attention from the admins. If Kimiko, or Yatsuji wishes to RP the part of Satsu, that is fine. If not, this will be a pretty short post. But, I wanted to keep it all above the table, and make sure that I RP'd the character as I had intended him to be, and that there is no power gaming / god moding concerns.
As Moeru left the Crane Quarters, he had a heavy burden weighing on his mind. He had to communicate with his champion, and soon. The situation at court was more than Moeru was prepared for. A trip to the Dragon Lands, even with the aide of his tattoo were just simply out of the question. Satsu-Dono had come to Moeru previously through a meditative vision, but Moeru had never attempted such a feat before. His brow furrowed at the thought of how he would even begin to attempt such a feat.
As the pair arrived back at the Dragon Quarters, Moeru had resigned himself to try and reach his champion through the elements. It was a long shot at best, but he desperately craved the guidance of his champion, or even his mentor, Togashi Mitsu. As they entered, several Dragon milled about, and a pair of Bushi lounged. He walked over to them, bowed slightly, and spoke. "Konichiwa, Mirumoto-sans. I have a task for you."
By now, Moeru's involvement in meetings, with the Crab and Crane had been the very stuff of good gossip. They both stood at attention, and bowed. Moeru beckoned to a closed door, and they began to walk, Shinko trailing behind. When they reached the door, one of the Bushi slid it open. Moeru put up his hand to halt them. "Mirumoto-sans. I go to prepare for a great feat of my own mental strength. Once this woman leaves this room, NO ONE is to enter, until I exit. If anyone, and I mean anyone short of the Grand Empress Herself, or Satsu-Dono attempts to enter this room, you will keep them from entering, or die trying." Moeru's voice was flat, matter of fact, and carried with it a grave tone.
The Samurai responded "Hai, Togashi-sama." in unison.
Moeru clasped Shinko's hand, and pulled her in the room. When the door closed behind them, he turned to face her, with a sly grin. Shinko-san, I must thank you for your aide today. I have but a few small tasks left for you. There should be a candle in the room. Light it and place it on the floor, in front of the Tatami. Once you have done that, please, Take my Kimono with you as you leave. And when I exit the room, please have Tea, and noodles ready." With the last part, he grinned wider than he had since this morning, and bowed slightly.
She seemed flush from the gratitude, and began nodding profusely, before remembering the hollowness of the gesture to a blind man, and spoke quietly. "Hai Togashi-sama."
She set the candle on the floor, and took the kimono from him, and exited. The door slid shut, and moeru sat on the floor on the Tatami, and removed his blindfold. He prepared himself, and fell into a trance-like state, searching the elements for some connection to his champion.
